*The workaround for the issues with crashing appears to be to put your tracks in playlists (or all of your tracks in a huge playlist).*
The audio performance of this app is very impressive. It adds ambiance, depth, punch and presence, and a good deal of additional volume as well. You do need to switch to Custom mode and theres a thin line between enhancement and coloration. But with a bit of patient fine tuning its easy to find the sweet spot.
I spent several thousand dollars on the aftermarket audio system in my Mercedes and it was 90% of where I wanted it. Audio Xciter more than made up the last 10%.
Id give it 5 stars if the developer hadnt apparently abandoned it three years ago, and if the GUI didnt look like a pop up ad.
