Audio Xciter - DSP Enhanced Music Player App Reviews

This app provides amazingly well decompressed sound that is especially complimented when used with very good earbuds or headphones. However, it seems to be having some serious compatibility issues with iOS 8 so please fix this soon. Its really messing up my ability to fully enjoy this app.

As of September, 2014, Audio Xciter now crashes on a new iPhone 5S with iOS 8.0.2. Repeated attempts to get support to respond (from their website and directly to email) go unanswered. This is the only app that has crashed on my iPhone in years. Restarts, redownloading, zeroing the phone and reinstalling and still this app crashes.

I would expect paying money for this app it would be less crash and bug prone but unfortunately I was wrong. Especially after the release of ios8 it has crashed unexpectedly, froze, and when you leave it playing and multitask on your phone, re-entering this app causes your song to go into fast forward, doubling the speed of the song and forcing a closure of the app

Doesnt work with iOS 8, keeps crashing!!! But, drops out on me a lot when streaming, icons under song time bar too close!! Volume bar at bottom, runs into airplay Icon and lastly no tech support!! Never get back to you, but didnt mind taking my money immediately!!!

When upgrading to newest iOS 8 cant use app and when installed the entire phone runs slower. Great audio quality but terrible app programming. Hope they fix it soon.

This is a good app. But I bought the silver version on my 4G iPod touch. Then I got an iPhone 5c and its making me pay for it again. Plz tell me how to fix this

Love the concept and sound from this app. Unfortunately, it is buggy under iOS 8.1. Wishing for an update.

Is a great app with excellent sound much better than ITunes music app. But since IOS 8 some of my music doesnt play the app just closes when you select the song. Please fix.

Worthless...doesnt play songs anymore...something about a code not supported...worked great for years but dont waste your time

Works better than the ios equalizer. Worth 99¢. Update Will not work with iPhone 6 and iOS 8. Not sure which is the culprit. Please fox it! Thank you.

I purchased the original and it stopped functioning. Today I upgraded for 3.99 and it still doesnt function. Are the developers working on this or just taking our money? Does Apple know or care? 2nd request for an answer. Maybe someone will reply this time? Rating would be 5 but now a gracious 1.

After iOS 7 i am back to Demo…..Apple should ban these guys……dont buy.

This app is wonderful, but when I updates to ios 8, some of my songs crashes it. I found the way to fix this is to make sure the song you want to hear HAS album artwork. The ones that dont will probably crash you. I tested it myself, and now my music works just fine. An official patch would be nice, but until then, make sure your songs have album artwork

The results are real! But you may want to think about spend that lucky dollar here, since 5 minute eXcite is not very sexy, so spend that dollar before new years! And forever enjoy better vibrant music <3 IAPCrazy ;)

This app used to be awesome, but with iOS 8 the app is now unusable as it crashes with seconds or minutes, and there doesnt seem to be an update coming up...

My first review was glowing, as the app was miles away better than whatever Apple put forth. Slowly it started showing issues. After iOS 8, though, its nigh unusable, as it stops randomly, doesnt work with the lock screen buttons for pause and play, the "demo" label wont go away; it just doesnt work anymore and there is no sign that the developer is working on it. I have, unfortunately, had to stop using it. Sad times for my mobile music listening... Original review: "Sounds absolutely amazing and I had no problem restoring my upgrade when I switched ipads. After buying this, any time I hear something in the native music player, it sounds like there is something missing in the music. Highly recommended."

When I first got this app it was amazing the music sounded so clear I just couldnt listen to music without it. However, once I I updated to iOS 8 it became unusable it crashes with all the songs and it has been like this for a while, unfortunately it seems like the developer will not fix it because there has not been an update in months.
